ToolStackPulse collects what we need to run the site, answer you, measure how readers use rankings, attribute affiliate referrals, and send follow-up email when you opt in.
Information we collect
When you browse, we may record pages visited, search queries, referring URLs, browser type, and an approximate location from your IP address. If you arrive from a paid ad, the landing URL may include advertising click identifiers (such as Google Ads gclid, gbraid, or wbraid). If you contact us, we keep the name, email, and message you send. If you opt into email follow-ups, we keep the address you enter, which ranking you asked about, and whether you opted in to related rankings.
Email follow-ups
If you opt in, we may email ranking updates in the same category, at most twice a month. Every message includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell email addresses. Affiliate links in those messages are labeled.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the site, send what you requested, improve editorial coverage, measure affiliate referrals and ad-driven visits, diagnose technical issues, and keep ToolStackPulse secure. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for necessary site functions, analytics, advertising measurement, affiliate attribution, and remembering your cookie preference. Visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland see a cookie banner; non-essential analytics and advertising scripts load there only after Accept. Outside those regions, we may load those tags by default and offer opt-out controls on the Cookie Policy page. You can also control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may limit some site features.
Affiliate referrals and click attribution
Some outbound product links are affiliate links. When you click those links, we may route you through a first-party redirect on ToolStackPulse. That redirect creates an opaque click_id for the partner URL and may store a server-side record that associates the click with advertising identifiers from your visit (when available). Partners receive the opaque click_id, not the underlying Google Ads click identifier. After you leave our site, partners may set their own cookies or process limited referral data under their own policies. Analytics providers may also process aggregated usage information on our behalf when analytics is allowed for your visit under the Cookie Policy.
Data retention
We keep contact messages, decision-sheet email addresses, click attribution records, and operational logs only as long as needed to send what you asked for, attribute referrals, honor unsubscribe requests, improve the site, or meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Children
ToolStackPulse is directed to adults shopping for software tools. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it.
Your choices and requests
You can reject non-essential cookies in the cookie banner (where shown) or on the Cookie Policy page, unsubscribe from email via the link in every message, and request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify the request before responding. Depending on where you live, additional rights may apply under local law.
International visitors
ToolStackPulse is operated for a primarily U.S. audience. If you access the site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
